A Tale of Fate (Part 1)

by Danielle   Jun 2, 2010

Across the room their eyes meet
Music fades as hearts beat
Quickly she turns to leave the ball
As she runs, she trips and falls
She looks up, dazed and confused
And sees that he came to her rescue
He politely asks "for just one dance
Please just give me a chance"
With skepticism forming in her eyes
She says "just one and then goodbye"
For her heart has been hurt
Many a times kicked in the dirt
She's not sure if this is right
But...it's only for one night
As the final song begins to end
She whispers, "goodbye my friend"
And there she goes off into the darkness
Trying to get rid of all her bliss...
