Always a Part of Me

I wanted to hold on and never let you go,
But you were in pain even if you didn't let it show.
I wanted to to be selfish and keep you forever,
But I knew we could no longer be together.

It was your time, there was nothing we could do,
God needed an angel, and he chose you.
I wish he didn't, but you were a wise choice,
A beautiful face with an angelic voice.

Heaven will rejoice your presence for eternity,
A new star now brightens our galaxy.
I'm in peace knowing that's where you'll be,
And that you'll be forever safe, always a part of me.

    I don't know why sad things happen but whe it does the memories of that loved one, the little keepsakes of the heart remains forever.

    This piece tugs at the heartstrings as the sadness and sorrow are deeply felt.Please be reminded that our Lord has promised that one day we will re-unite with our loved ones in his garden of perpetual beauty.

    Tough sad it's beautifully penned.
