Perfect World

by Nathalie   Apr 20, 2005

Why does everyone strive for perfection
Without even knowing what it means
No one seem to realize
Not everything's the way it seems

Our eyes are being blinded
By the things society call ideal
No one takes time to recognize
Perfection really isn't real

Our guidelines are already set
Everything's labeled right or wrong
Some wanna speak for themselves
But no one seems that strong

The beautiful and pretty ones
Are loved, admired, and praised
The deformed and retarded
Are put through a brutal phase

Humans attempt to extinct
Those different from themselves
Their ideas of a perfect world
Hurt them and everybody else

If the world we live in today
Is considered an ideal society
Then i guess i have to say
There's no room here for me
