Clocks

by Marcus blake   Jun 16, 2010

Nothin in life is more complicated
With no specific definition
But the suffrage of death goes on
And time waits for no one
If it is your time to die
Then Die!
Swallowing our moments and precious thoughts
Memories fade to the abyss and with it
Everything and anything we couldn't do
Or could do...
Sacrificing our happiness to achieve peace
Leads us to come face to face with our demons
Do what you want to do cause life won't stop turning
The clocks won't cease there movement
And if I'm walking though the inferno of my madness
I Cannot escape without you...
My tears drown out the flames
But take away my happiness
I don't need to be happy to exist
But the world influences us that "happiness" is the key to peace...
I rest on the cold floor my head rises up
Tell me... "Why do I see the stars past the ceiling?"
My hands open the way for me to touch the untouchable
"I'm living the dream while existing"
Somehow I figure all this will just work out
I mean every day the clock ticks and time moves on
And even if we get hurt from the presence of life
I myself would let that be enough to give in
Cause if time won't stop for us
Why would we think, "We" could stop for it...?
