No warm kisses

by Mr Rhee   Jun 28, 2010

I smell blood
On the air.
It tingles deep
Within my soul.

No warm kisses
To share with.
No soft ear
To whisper into.

I taste sweat
Across my lips.
So salty sweet
On my tongue.

No warm body
To hold onto.
No cool hand
To fit mine.

I hear cries
In the dark.
Are they mine,
Or perhaps yours?

No more fear
To hold it.
No other soul
To bare it.
