Reflections of a mind

by Marcus blake   Jul 5, 2010

Tell me lies and whisper me truths
I'm living
but to be alive
That's something i never knew
I was half into everything
I was part knowing into what I'd say
But with no fears other than the lose of friends
I felt as they vanished in numbers
My heart fell into darkness
what more pain does the world have for me
What else can be done
If it will be the last thing i feel to ease the pain in my head
Then let it be...
this brings me only satisfaction to a point

Hey. i love the poem, it was a very good write. it drew me in from the start.

Short, simple, and to the poit. And yet it is complex because of deep thoughts that are in it! I like it! good job!

The loss of friends is a painful feeling.
The way you worded this poem was expressed very well
