Poem For Mommy

She was her mommy's baby,

Always knew she could count on her,

God took her mommy away from her,

Now she's going in circles,

Trying to find the truth hidden deep down in the pit of life,

Too afraid to get close to anyone,

So, she pushes everyone away.

Too afraid to love someone,

Because she's scared they'll get taken away, too.

No one to count on,

Because no one can fill her mommy's shoes.

God took her meaning of friend that dreadful day,

Because he took her mommy away.
