Recovery.

by Kayla   Jul 8, 2010

Heal the wounds you have created,
Rebuild the bridges you have burned,
Gain the trust that you have lost,
Live the lessons that you have learned.

Speak the words between your lips,
Sing the songs that float in your head,
Think about those who've made you smile,
And those who have been a reason for the tears you shed.

Forget about the trouble that you have caused,
Because soon it'll be forgotten like an old scar.
Forget about the people that you have hurt,
Because the things you do, don't define the man that you are.

The past was a burden,
The present is a shame,
The future is a mystery,
But remember, everyone's life is just a game.
