Heart of Stone

by Timothy   Jul 9, 2010

I'm freezing cold,
In the summer heat;
If I could crack a smile,
It would be a death-defying feat.

Stripped bare,
Nothing left but bleak thoughts;
I could trash this empty house,
But it's all I got.

You gouged me,
And violated me when I was most prone;
One thing I certainly won't miss,
Is your heart of stone.
