I walk away just to turn back around,
you leave me all the time-without a sound.

I tell myself it's not alright,
but I let you let me down without a fight.

I promise I'll stop and make it go away,
but in my mind you stay.

I get angry thinking of you,
only wishing you'd think of me too.

I get upset remembering how you were,
how now, it's just all a blur.

You've changed a lot, I guess I have too.
Just hard for me to see this thing through.

I want it to end, no longer can I be a friend.
You don't know what it even means to care
your heart and brain are filled with air.

I know I loved you, I know I still care, Just need to find the tie
