The House

by Timothy   Aug 5, 2010

He wanted to move on,
Find a place of their own;
But she cited bills and debt,
And expenses unknown.

He said the tiny space was killing him,
The neighbors were trailer-trash;
She feared the unknown,
She feared the lack of cash.

He told her it was a new experience,
The house was a place to begin again;
She wondered if that was true,
Or if it was a place to find an end?

(I don't write true poems often, but this is a true account)
