Foolish Hearts

by Millions   Aug 11, 2010

My foolish heart,
Has never been so wrong,
as when it watched yours leave.
Our hearts would kiss, and touch, and talk.
Tell each other about their day, their friends, their dreams.
Your foolish heart, took nightmares away from mine,
held it's hand to cross the road.
Our hearts, were in their own relationship.
They didn't care about fights, and stupid words.
They held hands, even when we could not.
My foolish heart, learnt to live with yours beside it,
became comfortable, familiar,
and forgot to tell your foolish heart,
exactly how much it meant.
Exactly how perfect it was.
My foolish heart, has never had a friend,
quite like your foolish heart since then.
Your foolish heart, is sorely missed.
I know you love her, but often i can't help but think,
if your heart also, has found someone new?
However, if your foolish heart should once more outstretch a hand for mine,
it would cross the oceanic mountains, and mountainous oceans,
to hold your heart again.
