God Bless the King and Queen

by Timothy   Aug 18, 2010

Into the courtyard, to the site,
Wondrous pleasure, and an honor to be here tonight;
See the King and the Queen, Lord and Lady,
The masculine, and the dainty.

Prosperity has come again, because of his and her Majesty,
The previous rule cut off, elevating some of our tragedy;
We say "God bless the King and Queen", and feel it in our hearts,
Because this Sovereignty has allowed us a new start.

We were surprised to hear of the open court,
But thrilled by the music, thrilled to see children cavort;
But the pull of the string, and a release of a bow,
Killed all the hope that were had stowed.
