One Sided Coin

by Jay   Aug 21, 2010

Her love fades faster than my breath on a cool winter day. My heart beat for hers and hers alone.
When she cried I felt pain,
when she sighed I would know it was okay.

Like a one sided coin flipped into the air,
no matter how you called it,
it was always her.
It was always her.

I was too busy watching her that I forgot to watch where I was walking.
I thought surly she's watching out for me too.
I couldn't have been more wrong.

Just as that one sided coin was always her for me,
so it was for her too.
