Deeply feeling emotions, both joyous and sad
Excitement sends the heart into a frenzy of beats
Sadness, such a terrible thing, makes the heart weep
Knowing both what to feel and why
The heart hates having to say goodbye
Grieving over something lost, rejoicing over new life
Feelings so deep they make you tremble and shake
Feeling love so intensely, it feels surreal
Just a single thought or glance can set it off
Such a joyous thing, an amazing feeling
Rapidly beating, letting loose the butterflies

Such searing pain and hollowness can be felt
A ripping, stabbing, throbbing sensation
