The Dead Sea scrolls

by Mr Rhee   Sep 6, 2010

The Dead Sea scrolls, they say,
have so many secrets.
Ancient libraries, from ages
past, have many stories to tell.

By whose hands were
they scratched and scripted?
What bore those thoughts,
and those ideas?

Written words, and
tales to be told.
Histories recorded,
and thoughts scribbled down.

Who will find yours,
and mine, long from now?
Who will say those words
are ages and ages old?

Will anyone find our words
as having secrets?
Would anyone want
to hear our stories?

I sit and wonder,
if anyone will ever look?
Will we ever not be
heard from again?

How many secrets
have you written down?
How many stories
do you have to tell?

Who reads my words
more than once today?
Who will say I have
stories to tell?
