Loving you (even if you think I do not)

by Timothy   Sep 17, 2010

Sad faces are the norm,
Unhappy hearts that feel harmed;
When was the last time we heard a laugh,
And the thunder is hatred's wrath.

Not a hug, certainly no real embrace,
We both hunger, but barely get a taste;
Did the dreams shatter, after all these years?
Did hope dissipate, in realized fears?

I'm still loving you (even if you think I do not),
If I don't show it, I'm giving all I got;
Anger and pain, sometimes it gets the upper hand,
This dismal existence, for this woman, and this man.
