Always Remember

by Chris   Sep 29, 2010

You lied to me when I cared most
You took my heart and broke it
Now as I stand here looking back
Regretting everything now
I hope whenever you look into his eyes
That you see my death
Whether it be by hanging
Or cutting myself
Maybe a bullet wound
Maybe even jumping from high up
Wait no I have something better in mind
Whenever you look into his eyes
I hope you picture me laying in bed
Sad and alone miserable beyond miserable
As I die from not a physical wound
But from a broken heart and a broken spirit
You may have lied to me in the worst way
But may you always remember my face

This is so true to so many people.
I was completely convinced i'd die of despair, and this poem just rings so true to that.

I love the imaginary you've used here. As i read it, i can picture the thoughts of such crossed through ones mind. Its a beautiful piece of work, and as a survivor of a broken heart, you'll never forget the one, but remember, one is just the begining.

I relate to your unresting hate in this piece. Undesided as to how to move on or how to be remebered.

Time will only heal the wound, the scar will be there forever though.

    Good write.
