The Perfect Ring

by Benjamin   Jun 18, 2004

Whether it is a promise ring,
or whether it is a wedding ring,
I wnat it to be the most perfect
thing.
I wnat it to fit her hand just right,
so she'll wear it day or night.
The band of the ring must be the
purest silver, a bright and shinning
sterling silver.
The diamonds on the top of the ring
will shine, I really hope she
doesn't mind.
At the wedding I gave her that ring,
her smile and tears were the sweetest
thing.
Today she wears that ring with pride,
god forbid it leaves her side.
I think I found her the greatest thing,
I found her that one and only perfect
ring.
