Why Am I Here

by Benjamin   Jun 18, 2004

Sometimes I wonder through my deepest tear, why in God's name am I here?
Everywhere I go it clearly takes show, I only measure for your pleasure.The people don't seem to show a fret of the slightest ounce of respect.
The teasing and laughing, talking and mocking just continues to show every hurtful blow.
And then I realize the light so bright, how can I question his will and might?
I am here for a special reason, not to give in for the season.
His will be done through me right now, I know it will work some way some how.
Just when I become a happy guy, I'm brought down hard like rain in the sky.
My feelings are hurt it's clear, the thought I ask lingers very near;
Why in God's name am I here?
