I love you but good bye

by ladiiie   Oct 2, 2010

I will never forget you
though i may meet someone new
but a part of my heart
will forever belong to you

i know it wont be easy
&& i 'll miss you ever second
but everything in life
comes with a special lesson

Letting go is hard
But wen all the sadness clears
there will not be a reason
to shed another tear

What wee had was priceless
&& you will always hold my heart
but Now that our love is gone
We Must forever part

My love you took for granted
But i gave it anyway
&& still over looked me
Even till this very day

Of all the times you hurted me
&& all the times i cried
i think of why, i worked so hard
&& why ii even tried

You said you loved me forever
But forever has come && gone
&& still ii sit && wonder
Where it all Went wrong

But Now ii see whats really there
&& there is nothing ii cud have done
You cant help who you love
&& i just wasn't the one

Maybe someday down the road
Our past will sometimes inter-wine
&& once again i could hold you
&& know your mine

But until that day even it comes
You will only be in my mind
For Now its time for me too see
If its true love ii can find

We had some really good times
&& we had sum really bad
But the strength too keep on going
Neither of us had

I'm sorry our time has ended
&& we couldn't make things work..
But den ii think of all the times
ii acted like i didn't cared...

i know ii wasn't perfect..
But i gave you all i had..
& if we were so deep in love
Why does it feel so bad

ii still have a lot of questions
&& still wonder why
But now all ii could do is say
ii love you but good bye

    I agree with Billy Rob. You have a lot of talent behind your writing, but to really make it easier to read and have a smoother flow you need to take out out the slang and abbreviations. Some people really have to work at being good at writing, others just have a talent. You have a great talent that would be better put to use without the slang.
    I'd love to reread it if you decide to rewrite it.
