All In Vain

by Chris   Oct 6, 2010

Every time I start to believe
I fall and lose everything
Life never stops messing with me
Can't I do something to stop the pain
Can't I just be free
I try every night in vain
Sometimes I hate this place
Sometimes I hate me
You took my heart with a smile
Watching me descend into misery
As I lose feeling in my body
My sanity slipping from me
As you toss my heart to the ground
Leaving me to lose pieces of me
