Long Lost Memory

by Maegan Bravo   Oct 10, 2010

It lingers like a ghost,
Our long lost memory.
So lost within this house,
Forbidden to ever leave.

Why couldn't you see?
The destruction,
And pain?

It sits here,
By my side.
Whispering it's tales.

It shouldn't though.
Because I already know.

Why did it
Not follow you?
Is this a curse,
You've placed on me?

But I'm the one
With eyes.
I'm the one
That can see.

The pain and destruction,
Of our long lost memory.
