Fading Away, Slowly Coming Back

by Lost Dreamer   Oct 17, 2010

How can we promise each other one thing,
then go and do the total opposite?
This isn't a fling,
you can already tell.
This isn't something taking pics on a cell,
is going to solve.
I don't know how to make this better,
other than breaking this relationship up.
It would make everything worse and better at the same.
How can I keep missing everything we were,
when we were worse before.
I don't want to erase everything we've become.
This isn't a game,
we've been playing.
It's time to aim,
and look towards the future.
How could I be straying apart from you,
when we haven't even started to face the facts.
The things I hate about you,
there's no way to explain.
The way you've changed, the promises you've made, and broken.
The way you ignore me, what you've became.
You were different before,
but now it just seems your back to a normal.
Just not completely.
Please, just don't go and break my heart.
Let's fix this before we ruin it all.
I'm trying to let you know our flame isn't burning out,
but the more the days extend the more it blows away,
and fades out.
