The Kiss

by H. Elizabeth   Oct 23, 2010

We embrace and you hold me tight
I love the way you touch me
Everything feels just right

Our bodies are pressed together
"I love you" he tells me
Forever and Ever

I lay my head on his shoulder
He kisses me atop my head
My eyes grow wide and I softly shudder

My laughter fills the air
He looks at me funny
I don't care

He's smiling along
I'm so happy
To him I belong

Finally he kissed me
Even if was on the head
"Kiss me again!" I silently plea

Now that he's taller that explains why he kissed me on the head
Plus we were in school
If a teacher caught us we'd both be dead

*** LOL on that last part, "We'd both be dead" ***
