Longing

My heart is oh so sore
And so ready to break
Can't go on any more
I don't have what it takes
This happens, as I see
Every single time
If I could go and flee
I would leave on a dime
Why do I like someone
Who likes somebody else
Or somebody likes them
It's always something else
Maybe I should give up
Just throw it all away
I wish someone liked me
And not just for their play
Maybe I'll find someone
Or someone will find me
But until that day
I should just be happy
Now I have all my tears
And I have all my fears
Always surrounding me
Forever as I see
If this would happen I
Wish it would come today
I want someone to want
To be with me this way

    Nice. I really liked your ideas and questions of thought you give the reader as we read your poem. Your emotions throughout this piece are very active as you throw yourself out grasping for someone to love you and you them. I'm sure there are many people who could relate to this poem. I also liked how you kept a steady flow in the poem and how you had the rhyme scheme different in parts, creative I think. Anyway you have done an wonderful job with this poem. Great job and keep writing.
