Night can be long in the winter for animals and for humans. I could hear the wolf howling and feel the cold wind blowing. Good job.

    //shines with a eerie glow,
    piercing earths darkness//
I love the picture of errie moon and the dark night... sounds beautiful to me :)
womnderful write... lovely descriptions of a long winter night... the imagery wolf's cry in the last stanza ends it very well.

Absolutely beautiful and deeply surreal while reading, this was a touching nature write where you went over and above the expected descriptions, and imagined something new at night. Thanks for sharing.

    God bless!

'a' in the first stanza should be 'an'. This poem was excellent, you incorporated the senses in a unique way, I could definitely see and hear everything I read. I also loved the title, I thought that worked really well with the poem as a whole.

    Lingering nights
    beckoned by the pale moon
    shines with a eerie glow,
    piercing earths darkness.
WOW.. JAD..this is a very strong poem..the most thing i love about this..is the title..i am a maniac of winter!

the wording is do damn strong..amazing pictures..perfect expressions..very poetic.
    VERy deep..incredible flow

    Life in the forest
    shuttles in their homes,
    mesmerized by cascaded white

^^^ u took my breath away with the amazingnes of these words...it's just fantastic..
    poetic..flawing ..
    very DEEP..

The silence of night is broken
as a wolf resounds his cry,
^^^i was actually able to hear the cry
    of a wolf..amid a dark winter night..a
    very scary yet steepy image..
    gave me goosebumps

    trying to overcome and endure
    Winters long nights.

    ^^^very strong..i did not EXPECT..
