If I Opened My Heart To You
I'd start by saying sorry
sorry for what I put you through
And for not stepping up
To stand by your side.

I'd tell you that when i First met you
I knew I loved you from the start
I was just too afraid to
really let you in my heart.

I'd tell you that i always cared
from the top and bottom of my heart
I'd scream i love you a million times
Loud enough for you to hear
Just to see you smile

I'd tell you that when it was time to go home
and you were standing there waiting
my heart beat sped up at least 6 times faster
You just had that effect on me.

I'd tell you I loved watching tv all day
if it meant I was going to be with you

If I had opened up my heart to you a little sooner
maybe you'd be here and you would know
how special you truely were to me.

    Well done, I like it because it flows nicely, but more importantly as a reader you can feel your emotions.

    The only thing I would change would be to not have heart twice, that close together.
