Trapped

by Heather   Nov 23, 2010

Trapped in these dark emotions,
Time to wait for your only devotions.
Trapped around these horrible memories,
Need to find some clarities.

I can't escape myself, How to mend one's broken self?
Trapped in this incoherent mind,
My dreams and realities entwined.
I need something real,
I need something worth to feel.

Trapped under these rocks,
Mouths move but no one talks.
Is anybody listening? I'm in a room full of people-
I'm alone.
I rid myself of anything I've ever known.

Trapped in control,
Not falling short of perfection is my goal.
I'm the one you can count on,
I'm the one still waiting in the dark when its all gone.

Trapped in vague abuse,
Running from death's seduce.
If this is my fate, then you arrived a little late.

Trapped in what I never wanted to be,
If I found myself, you'd still disagree.
Trapped in a world of all your laws,
So I couldn't survive all my flaws.
