Love as I knew it

by Reina   Dec 1, 2010

A blue glow that breathes precious freckles of grey
Like the crystals of your eyes shining so brightly
And your fair-haired locks rest positioned without fray
As a breeze carries through and shifts ever so lightly

When your long fingers gently run down my back
And the scent of Polo reminisce in the atmosphere
It sends shivers that run all the way up to my neck
And everything fades away as if no one else is near

You gradually draw me near to where our bodies meet
The warmth makes my stomach butterflies start to flutter
And the pounding of my heart starts skipping its beat
To know in my heart that you are my one and only lover

Today I stand here with a depressed empty heart
To wonder how we continue down a new road apart
