Alone

by Reina   Feb 5, 2013

I walk around with emptiness,

The scars I wear are easy to miss.

All my life I have been alone,

By myself I have grown.

I've learned to mark my distance,

For departure has shown persistence.

The ones I hold too close you see,

Are always the first who run from me.

Alone once again on this earth,

Nothing has changed since my birth.

I must be broken or something wrong,

Alone will be my whole lifelong.

I guess I'm free take what you want,

My past will stay forever it will haunt.

Who would want someone like me?

Chains are locked never to be free.

Not only my emotions but also a child,

Go ahead and count its already piled.

Accept it now I'll always be alone,

I'm worth nothing this has shown.

It's as if you were living in my shoes.... I feel your pain but keep your spirit alive things will be brighter in time. This too shall pass... HUGS
