Worst Day Of My Entire Life

by Dominique Lewis   Dec 6, 2010

I was home all alone and we don't have a alarm system.
I can hear the rain pounding on the roof and it sounded as if it was trying to warn me about something.
That's when I heard it.
There was something in the lock on the front door.
I go to open, thinking my parents are home.
I look through the peep hole expecting to see them, but I don't.
There is a man wearing a black hockey mask and that's when I ran for the phone.
He came in right when I was dialing the police. He threw me on the floor and did things to me I was praying will never happen to me.
It was the worst day of my entire life.
I told my parents everything when they got home, but they thought I was lying, but honestly I knew I wasn't.
To this very day no one knows the truth and that man is still out there alive.

I dedicate this poem to my friend Jessica, because she is the girl in the story and she killed herself two days ago. I'm so sorry Jessie!
