A Cup Half Full of Love

by Tammie   Dec 9, 2010

A cup half empty kind of girl when you found me,
Broken on the inside though you didn't know,
Hollow promises and disappointment was all I was used to,
Little did I know that you'd come along and make my world glow

I thought I'd never be loved,
But you've shown me that I was wrong,
You've coloured in my world and
Made me the happiest I've been in so long

Although I have moments of sadness,
You help me through each day,
Remembering who I have is better than
Anyone who never wanted to stay

I see the cup as half full now,
You've filled me with happiness, mending my heart,
And I know that when I need someone to cry on,
You'll be there and we will never part.

[[ This is really quite lame and the rhyming is terrible, but it's all I've written in over a year. ]]

    Hi Tammie,
This poem, to put it bluntly, is brilliant. It sums up exactly how I feel too when my special lady came into my life. Well done 5/5 X
