Dear Charley,

by David Nguyen   Dec 9, 2010

You left me in this world, to fight on my own
You left me in this world, to fight all alone
Tears can mean two things, joy and sad
But I sit here crying, for the only best friend I had
You were my brother, the only one there
You were my brother, the only one to care
I remember back then, how reckless we were
Memories that wont be forgotten, wont ever be blurred
Like that time we first met, throwing snowballs around
And watching other kids on ice, hitting hard to the ground
I remember when we played football, you were by yourself
So I walked up to the wall, and asked you for help
We played and we played, from kids to adults
We laughed and we joked, till we would all cough
Memories oh memories, they bring pain and joy
Watching each other grow up, when we were just boys
And now your gone, I'm left by myself
Now it is me bro, that needs your help
So while your in heaven, remember we love you
Remember we miss you, and ill see you soon.
