A Rose Never Smelled So Poisonous

by Lauren Waszkiewicz   Dec 10, 2010

One step, two step, three step-trip.
Ashes, ashes, and tonight we fall.
Could every horse, all the men
put my heart together again?
Ring around the red rose bush,
but watch out for the thorns.
A rose never smelled so poisonous.
Never chastise a woman scorned.
