Too Good for my Own Good

by Lauren Waszkiewicz   Dec 12, 2010

Am I too good for my own good?
I try my hardest to be the nicest,
I try my best to forgive.
And what do I get in return?
This messed up life I live.

Is this the only life for me?
Lied to and stepped all over,
Treated like a disgrace
Yet all I give in return-
Is the smile on my face.

Am I too good for my own good?
Only God above can judge.
I only wish Karma succeeds,
and pays you back three times
for all your treacherous deeds.
