Infinitly Matter

by East Poetry   Dec 14, 2010

How do you know you've found someone
who is your true soul mate?
When existence recognizes
that ever perfect date.

That moment when you know for sure,
that it is meant to last.
Both accepting and forgiving,
of the future and the past.

Each simply understanding,
that the newness is a phase.
And through the dawning years ahead,
true love will stay ablaze.

To find your perfect soul mate,
how extremely rare this is!
Existence surely notices
a moment such as this.

For somewhere in the cosmos,
in the great vastness of its sea.
Your spirits collide together
in spectacular jubilee.

The universe can't help but smile,
at such a rare and epic sight!
The ultimate in fireworks,
as two souls full on, ignite!

Out in the cosmos an event so huge,
your colliding spheres to shatter.
Creating a love so pure and lasting,
you make each others existences

... Infinitely matter

(Note: the duel meaning of the last word.
Matter)

Good write! I loved the image I got from reading this--that two souls can be infinitely important to each other, that they are their own universe.

Just one question: In the 2nd stanza, did you mean 'accepting' rather than 'excepting?'
