More than words

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 31, 2010

You are my flower
I can sway with you
and we will spin,
over-passing centuries
of dark blossoms.

I could sit here
upon a tree stump,
waiting and watching
your sweet kisses
like dewdrops
on honey blades.

I jump down,
puckering my lips
for you to give
me my gift.

I love you too,
my enlightening
canary, your grin
is my own sun.
