Let Me Accept

I scream to be set free
beyond the fear
I cannot see

Let me accept who I am
walk this path
or my life be damned

Allow me to be enough
pull back the mask
and end this bluff

Myself I need to believe
look in the mirror
and smile at who I see

Accept all the shame
let it help me grow
and be okay with the blame

I'll walk standing tall
live with my eyes open
and be prepared to fall
