Hour Glass

by Clarise   Jan 15, 2011

Sand falling everywhere,
surrounded by glass walls,
air getting tighter and tighter,
waist deep in the sands of time,
waiting for someone to lift the glass,
and let me out,
just like the magic flower in Beauty and the Beast,
i want to be free,
no time limits,
no limited breathing,
no watching the world through a pane if glass,
seeing your reflection fade into a face you don't recognize,
forever stuck in a hour glass.
