Moving on...

I'm sorry but it's time to move on
I can no longer cry over you
There's someone searching for me
You said that we were through

I gave you my heart and so much more
But there's no time to sit and cry
You never truly loved me in return
So now it's time for my goodbye

This may be harsh but I really don't care
I wish I would have never gave you my heart
I wish I never let myself fall for you
I should have seen the warning signs from the start

I loved you with all of my heart and soul
Goodbye to the lover that should have been
But I can no longer hope for us together
So goodbye to the person I called my best friend

    Wow, this deffinatly has emotion down. The wording is okay, it does create a nice flow and establish the emotion, but it is a bit on the bland side... Though overall I think this poem could be improved in many ways, not to say it is not well written, because that would be a lie. but it could be improved to be stronger or more unique.
