Winter Ash

by Lynn Anderson   Jan 27, 2011

Grey, pale white, ash.
Colors that fill this winter sky.
The blues of summer do yet clash.
Even though the same birds still fly.

Colors that fill this winter sky.
Make my mind cold and gloomy.
Even though the same birds still fly.
The only ones that wont bestow me.

Make my mind cold and gloomy.
The blues of summer do yet clash.
The only ones that wont bestow me.
Grey, pale white, ash.

I really liked the first stanza...the whole poem for that matter. It really has a lonely feel to it. good job
