You weren't the one

by Matthew Schut   Feb 4, 2011

There's really nothing left to say
I don't want to see you again
I will never forget that hurtful day
You will never be my friend

You had me once, I was all yours
You had my heart, I loved you so
But baby if you ever think about me
Push it away and let the feelings go

I have given you too many chances
I've let you play with me too long
Now it's time to push you out my life
Every day, I will be strong

Goodbye to you and your hurtful ways
The girl that used to be my everything
You were honestly my dream come true
My heart will choose a new song to sing...

Aww, I'm sorry you feel/ felt this way. I hope things get better, or got better. Though it certantly created a wonderful piece. This is filled with emotion, yet that seems to be the only strength. It is not very origional, there is no creativity, and the wording is quite plain. I hope that this piece was only meant as an emotional release, because if not I am being quite rude and I greatly appoligise... Over all, because this is still a poem I gave it a 3... I'm sorry, but to me there is nothing spectacular.
