I Wonder Who She Is

by TheVampire   Feb 4, 2011

I wonder who she is,
that girl you think about.
The reason why I'm broken,
the reason why I'm left out.

I hope she is beautiful,
that girl you always dream.
The one that you want to hold,
while I'm alone in the scene.

I'm sure you make her smile,
and she fulfills your every need.
While no matter how hard I tried,
You never seemed at all pleased.

I believe she must be perfect,
with her body, laugh, and voice.
She was born so fortunate,
I'm sorry, I don't have a choice.

I know you really love her,
and you both are meant to be.
I stare at her in your arms,
only able to wish that were me.

A really thoughtful poem- the rhyme suited it well with a steady flow- I felt this pain here, how you know you are not this other girl, a reflection of such beauty, but you hold more in your heart than just the "perfect" everything. Heartbreaking write, take care.
