She doesn't know why

but she knows that when the tears start- they wont stop.

She doesn't know how

but she still manages to stay alive- she just gets by.

She can't fall asleep

she lies awake.

She can see it all

when she closes her eyes, it's so crystal clear.

She can hear her heart beat

beating faster and faster as the minutes pass.

She keeps breathing

though in her heart she is dead.
