Battles

by what living does   Feb 21, 2011

Time and time I've shared this pain,

Interlopers on an endless plain,

I hope only to dwell in peace,

However Tranquility is a roaming beast.

Two will battle for one domain,

Yet for reasons only one can remain.

Who will win this pointless fight,

The reason or romantic flight,

Torn asunder long ago,

The lesser once again wish to be whole.

Why do they resist, these heathen beasts,

Because the whole for once is a diminished piece.
