Hoarder

by Yakari Gabriel   Mar 4, 2011

This heart is broken
and useless
I can't find a thing to do with it

once upon a time,
It used to be so full of
love,hopes and dreams..

All of it vanished
when you left

memories no longer feed me
I'm starving for your love

hurts to know you'll never come back,
why keep this heart if you no longer want it...

I'm no hoarder,
these feelings are unwanted
I'm throwing them away.

My favorite lines were the ones Britt pointed out as well....its a feeling too many women, perhaps even men go through. That broke my heart, I watched my mom be fed by memories when she craved by dads love..its so sad

The title was amazing. When i read it I thought this poem was going to be something totally different. You described this really well though. We humans hoard emotions just like those crazy people hoard materialistic things.

    Great write Yak, truly!
