Scent of life (tanka)

This park, deserted
save for Dragon and myself:
golden retriever;
he stops at every scent spot,
blind - he does not heed the night.

    I like this very much. its beauty and clarity is in its simplicity. I can understand the moment and the words, each in turn.

    I love this Tanka.. I usually find it hard to write one without interrupting the flow..

    but you managed to keep it rhythmic with this piece.

    Nature poems are so refreshing..
