My best friend lost her grandpa recently..
So, I wrote this for her. <3
Also, this is for anyone who lost someone close to them. Stay strong :)

Things have changed, ever since you've been gone.
The sun lost it's shine.
My heart lost a piece,
My face has lost it's smile.
Every second I'm not with you, brings me a day closer to when I'll finally be.
I miss your warm embrace, the way you lift me up when I'm down.
You mean so much, my dear grandpa.
Even though you're not here to celebrate my good moments & brighten my bad ones..
I've realized that where ever I go, I take a little piece of you with me.
You give me strength & courage.
When I lost you, I lost a part of me.
I'll find it, someday.
Someday, I'll be able to be with you again.
The sun will shine.
My heart will be whole.
My face, will wear the smile you gave me.

Through the tears I've realized you're in a better place, in heaven, & forever in my heart.
