As We Dance

As we dance hand in hand, my body starts to shake.
As we stare into each others eyes, my heart shall never break.
As I love you with all my heart, I wish you'd love me to.
As I lay my head upon your chest, I hear your heart beating.
As we hug each other good night, you will love me always as a friend.

    You know, there's always poems on this site that get missed for whatever reason. I think this is one of them. I like to read people's older work because I find that the best and most honest stuff is usually found toward the beginning of when people sign up to this site.

    Point being, I like this. That ending was unexpected. It's short, sweet and to a twist of a point. You might want to and an extra 'o' to that 'too' though.
